In the 2nd part of the 8th day of the motorcycle trip through Europe, we visited the Predjama Castle. We marveled at the beauty of the place, the state of preservation of the castle and how many stairs we had to climb and descend. It is a Renaissance castle that was built in a cave mouth. Since it is not exactly a pleasant place to live, it has changed owners quite often. More information can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predjam… But what we can tell you is that Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle are two great places to visit and it’s worth setting aside a day to enjoy the wonders of these two places in Slovenia.
