If it’s day 7, it’s Trieste, Italy. La bella Italia. The road did not last very long, considering that it is only 35 km. Once we arrived in Trieste, we were pleasantly impressed by the fact that everywhere there were parking spaces for motorcycles and scooters. The second thing that surprised us was the beauty of the building. Tall buildings, well maintained, with wide and generous streets. We stopped to eat traditional pizza at a famous restaurant where it was cooked in a wood oven. We weren’t necessarily looking for it, but that’s how we found it, a cafe open for 43 years where an old woman who owned the place served us a ristretto and told us some life stories.
